MergeMedia Group Named to “Best Brands for LGBT Consumers” List
LGBT marketing firm client included in national survey of gay and lesbian buying habits and preferences

DALLAS, July 19, 2006 – Dallas-based MergeMedia Group, LP, a leading marketing communications firm specializing in the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) market, is proud to announce that its client brand Coors Light has been named one of the best brands for LGBT consumers, according to the Gay/Lesbian Consumer Online Study, an annual survey of demographic, lifestyle, consumer and media patterns of LGBT consumers. Coors Light ranked fifth in the survey’s beer category.

Respondents to the Gay/Lesbian Consumer Online Survey indicated which brands they used or owned in a variety of categories, ranging from insurance and hotels to beverages and cable channels. In addition to Coors Light, other national brands to make the “Best Brands” list in their respective categories include State Farm (auto insurance), Ford (automobiles), Bank of America (banking), Yellow Tail (wine), Visa (credit cards) and Google (online).
